About the University
The University of Westminster was founded as Britain's first polytechnic in 1838. Since then it has developed into a university that combines both metropolitan and cosmopolitan dimensions, and which is closely involved in business, professional and academic life within London, as well as overseas.
The University of Westminster is know for its vibrant learning environment – fostering innovation and creativity, informed by practice, inspired by research, focusing on the globally relevant areas in which they excel. Westminster has a reputation for excellence in professionally relevant teaching and learning and for high quality research. Offering over 300 degree courses, we place particular emphasis on providing international opportunities for Westminster students in order to ensure that we provide an environment where students can develop skills, competences and knowledge required by the global economy.
Westminster has four campuses in London, which are home to our five faculties. Three of the campuses are in central London and one is in Harrow, north-west London.
The central London campuses comprise Cavendish Campus, Marylebone Campus and Regent Campus. Our Regent Campus is made up of three sites: our headquarters at 309 Regent Street, our Little Titchfield Street site and our Wells Street site. All of the central London campuses are within walking distance of each other and enjoy enviable locations in the heart of London.
The Harrow Campus is a short Tube ride away from our central London campuses and is home to our vibrant Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design.

About Student Life
You’ll be able to join clubs and societies at the university Students’ Union, which also hosts a variety of events for visiting students. Westminster’s recreational facilities include a gymnasium and fitness rooms.
Living like a true Londoner, you’ll learn to commute between Westminster’s four campuses. Three—Regent Street, Marylebone and Cavendish—are situated within a 20-minute walk to each other in the hustle of central London, near Oxford Street , the theatre district in the West End, and Regent’s Park.

- Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7
- Students must an acceptable judicial conduct record
- Students must have declared their minor and core concentration
- Students must have academic advisor and dean approval

RWU Students will typically enroll in the 4 module program at the University of Westminster. If you take a 4th module, it must be from the 4th Module Catalogue maintained by the University of Westminster. Please note that students participating in an internship are only permitted to do so as part of the 3-Module Programme.Fall or Spring semester
3-Module Programme = 12 U.S. semester credit hours
4-Module Programme = 16 U.S. semester credit hours
RWU students will live in one of the University of Westminster's Halls of Residence. Depending on which campus your classes are located this will determine which Residence Hall will be most appropriate.
Marylebone Hall
Marylebone Hall is a modern, 21-storey building attached to Marylebone Campus, one of the main teaching sites at the University of Westminster. This Residence Hall is also convenient for students taking classes at the Regent Campus.
Study abroad students can apply for one of the standard rooms, all of which have a private bathroom, built in wardrobes, desks and internet connection. Kitchens are shared by a maximum of six students and contain a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Alexander Fleming Hall
The hall consists of three separate purpose-built, low-rise modern blocks offering good-quality self-contained units with their own front door and lobby. Each unit has four, six or eight single rooms with washbasins, a modern and well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, and two or three bathrooms depending on size.
The kitchens are supplied with a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. They also have a television and facilities for ironing, and there is a coin-operated launderette nearby.
Harrow Hall
Designed to harmonise with the environment, the on-campus accommodation complex offers exciting accommodation consisting of self-contained units arranged in small, purpose-built, low-rise blocks, all surrounded by shrubbery and green lawns.
Each unit has its own front door, lobby and six standard, single bedrooms with private bathrooms.
The campus was specially designed to give easy access to those with physical disabilities, and some of the rooms have facilities converted for wheelchair use.
Fall Semester runs early September thru mid December; Spring Semester runs mid January thru end of May.
Program Cost
Approved semester long programs will be billed through RWU Bursar accounts based on regular tuition, housing and semester fee rates.

Visas
Students studying in the UK will need a Short Term Student Visitor Visa which will be issued at the airport upon arrival. Students who will be doing an Internship will require a Tier 4 Visa which needs to be applied for and issued before arrival to the UK.
