Stellenbosch, South Africa
  • Earn up to 15 credits per semester studying abroad in Stellenbosch; no previous African language study is required.
  • Live in a university residence hall.
  • Choose from a wide array of courses on the Full Curriculum Program.
  • A limited number of students may participate in an AIFS Internship at Ardmore Ceramic Studio, Kwazulu Natal; interested students should contact the Resident Director once accepted to the Full Curriculum Program.
  • Enjoy cultural and social activities such as a vineyard tour, a visit to Table Mountain, hiking, a sporting event, local music and food festivals and more; volunteer opportunities are also available.
  • Excursions include a 6-day tour along the Garden Route, a day trip to Cape Town and Robben Island, a trip to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach and a day trip to a specialty market with local food, craft beer and time to relax at the beach.
  • Optional excursions include a 3-day trip to the Cederberg Mountains ($295) and a 5-day visit to Addo Elephant Park and Breede River ($645).
  • Tuition and transcripts provided by Stellenbosch University.
